The celebration of a local athlete continues in southern Indiana.
This Saturday, July 31st the city of Princeton is holding a celebration parade for Olympic gold medalist Jackie Young.
You may remember, we told you about her win on Wednesday.
Young competed in the first ever three-on-three basketball tournament in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Hundreds of people showed up to cheer on their support in a special watch party early Wednesday morning.
In addition to helping Team USA win the gold, Young has also won titles with Notre Dame and plays for the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.
The parade in her honor will take place this Saturday in Princeton at 4 pm.
The line begins on Broadway.
Fans are encouraged to line the street with signs, banners, and flags to welcome Jackie back home.
