A Washington Middle Schooler is now a baking Champion!
Trevin Alford, an 8th Grader at Washington Middle School was crowned the winner of The Food Network’s Kids Baking Championship.
As part of the casting process, Trevin went through a preliminary round before making it onto the show’s 7th season. From there, he survived weeks of baking challenges, ending up as the last kid standing as the dust – and flour- settled.
Washington residents were able to follow along with Trevin’s progress all season long thanks to watch party’s in the city.
To go along with the title of Kids Baking Champion, Trevin also is the winner of $25,000.
